Flip It – Created by Alice H. Yucht, this decision-making framework can be used for both personal and professional information processing needs. It focuses on four strategic markers. These include:
1. Focus-Specifying (What will students researching, What are the questions students need to answer, How will they be conducting research)
3. Input/Implementation-reviewing facts, paraphrasing information and assessing information for usefulness.
2. Input- Sorting, Sifting, Storing-Indentifying resources both print and non-print resources, connecting prior knowledge to different content area.
4. Payoff/Presentation-How information is share and presented to classmates, peers and instructors.
